Model Meadow Walker, the 22-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker, stars in Proenza Schouler’s 2021 pre-fall campaign.

“I am so unbelievably grateful to everyone who has supported me and believed in me,” Meadow wrote on Instagram, captioning an image from the campaign. “Thank you Jack and Lazaro @proenzaschouler and @bertmartirosyan for trusting me to share this beautiful collection with the world. Thank you to my @dnamodels family for guiding me every step of the way.”

Meadow has been signed on to the DNA Models agency since 2017, with Proenza Schouler marking her first major fashion campaign, according to Page Six.

In a release, designer duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez said that Proenza Schouler’s 2021 pre-fall collection “advocates for a way of dressing that is free of unnecessary complication, while celebrating the joy of dressing up in all its tactile, material, and sensual glory, and as an antidote to the increasingly challenging times we are living in.”

The versatile collection includes form-fitting suits with dramatically flared trousers, crotchet halter-top maxi dresses, boxy pleated leather pieces, fringed knit skirts, quilted handbags, and plunging V-necklines.

On Instagram, the model regularly honors her late father, who passed away in 2013 and is famously remembered for his iconic role as Brian O’Conner in the Fast & Furious film franchise. In October, she posted a throwback photo of the two, with a young Meadow striking a pose for Paul’s camera. She captioned the heartwarming flick, “Miss you so so much, best friend forever and ever.”

Meadow also heads the Paul Walker Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships to students and researchers pursuing marine science education.

“Meadow is excited to be carrying on his legacy,” reads the organization’s website. “One of the key ways she plans to meet this challenge is by helping ocean leaders of tomorrow become beacons in the fight to protect our oceans, wildlife, and ourselves.”
