Dainty, satin-clad ballet slippers might not be the first thing you expect to see padding their way down an autumn/winter runway, yet Miu Miu paid no heed to weather constrictions and struck gold with its ballet-inspired pumps, which are fast becoming the shoe to be seen in this season.

Harking back to the brand’s spring/summer 2016 collection, which first thrust the cult ribbon-tied pumps into the spotlight, the new-gen slipper has a simpler silhouette, and is available in both unadorned leather and satin, and features a simple logoed elastic strap.
The brand has not, however, held back when it comes to colorways and the ballet pump comes in a range of lust-worthy shades, including powder blue, red, pink, and white. One for every occasion, right? A girl can dream.
Not unlike the OG shoe, fashion editors have already been snapping up the Miu Miu ballet pump 2.0, including Vogue’s Julia Hobbs, who has styled hers with everything from mesh trousers to embellished minidresses, both at home and on holiday.
