LONDON’S ROOFTOP WINTERS ARE BACK!

Pergola Paddington are back to brighten up your dreary winter evenings.

Paddington isn’t renowned for its forests, but that’s all set to change with the launch of Pergola Paddington’s winter season on December 3. The festive makeover will see the rooftop hangout become a cosy winter forest, with alpine lodges and log fires dotted amongst the 200 real Christmas trees that Pergola have got on order. Known as the ‘Miracle on Kingdom Street’, this winter haven will be filled with street food, seasonal cocktails, and toasty welcomes, and we can’t bloody wait!

First things first, you can rest assured that Pergola Paddington will be fully protected from the vagaries of the winter weather by a roof – and they’ve also got a brand-new heating system in place for winter 2020 to ward off any cold spells, along with those roaring log fires. Miracle on Kingdom Street will be home to two equally glorious spaces, each with their own charms and treats.

On the upper level, you’ll find the Winter Wonderland Forest: an Alpine paradise that mimics the feeling of being amongst the snow-draped mountains (that’s where those 200 Christmas trees come into play). Downstairs, meanwhile, is home to the Alpine Winter Hall, a place that draws inspiration from the Bavarian beer halls of southern Germany. It’ll be home to no fewer than eight cosy winter lodges, which have been kitted out by Moet & Chandon with blankets, cheese fondue kits, and your own private bar for the creation and consumption of winter cocktails.
