She’s known as the ‘Podcast Witch!’ For a 39-year-old, that’s a strange title to carry; but Agathe Fohler revels in her psychic abilities, which have been inherent from birth. As ‘Aurena, Queen of the Fairies,’ she touches people’s hearts with her healing… but life has not always been about light and love for her.
Born to a Sri Lankan mother (who is hearing and speech-impaired) and German father (who was partially hearing-impaired), Agathe grew up surrounded by the pic-turesque mountains of Bavaria. Her siblings and she were cared for by a foster family who immersed themselves in Deepak Chopra’s books, the science of the un-known, yoga and meditation.
Having studied science and apprenticed in a laboratory, Agathe’s unusual career choice in insurance was abruptly cut short when she joined TUI fly Deutschland as a children’s animator in Portugal.
After studying massage therapy in Berlin while acting in films and music videos, she travelled to Kerala, Bangalore and Bali. Agathe ventured into spa management and emerged with a Reiki Grandmaster qualification. She returned to India to master foot reflexology and Varma Kalai martial arts while modelling part-time.
Thereafter, she relocated to Singapore to learn pre and postnatal treatment Java style, and then travelled to Germany to study energy counselling for trauma patients.
Agathe has worked in spas in India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and Kazakhstan. And she added Hawaiian massage, healing therapy and palliative care to create a ho-listic intervention praxis. This has led her to become a speaker, and share the stage with archaeologists, healers and scientists.
And while she’s an expert in reading people’s energy, this free spirited vegetarian who is devoted to animals is strong on listening to her heart too – as well as having faith in doing what her inner being dictates.

Q: What was it like living in a household where your mum was hearing and speech-impaired, and dad was partially hearing-impaired?
A: I could be as loud as I wanted and they didn’t say anything… because they couldn’t hear! But if I needed help, they couldn’t hear me either. It felt like I was responsible for myself but I’d have to be there for them if they needed me.
Q: You call yourself a ‘multidimensional being’ – what does this entail?
A: As a multidimensional person, I can use all the senses and work in a matter of seconds on all levels – chakras, meridians, body, mind, soul, past and present lives.
Q: Your career choice is unusual – how did you venture into psychic healing?
A: It was never a choice; it was inherent in me. But by learning more about who I am and realising that I’m not like others, I chose this path. If I didn’t follow this path, I would have been miserable.
Q: What were your study and work experiences in various countries like?
A: It was amazing working with healers who knew who I was even before I knew myself. They unearthed hidden knowledge and introduced me to age-old techniques so that I could realise my full potential.
Q: Have you had to break bad news to any of your clients?
A: I’m always honest. I tell my clients what I see. There’s no drama because they are able to change whatever they’re facing – because with truth and reality comes a consciousness to change.
Q: What’s your cleansing process after a healing?
A: I don’t have a cleansing process. I keep my vibrations high from morning till night and since I really love my sleep, my dreams are like meditation for me.
Q: And how do you unwind?
A: Drawing and doing sporty things relaxes me. I love nature, cooking organic food, drinking water and having sea baths because of the saltwater.
Q: What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
A: Clean my house – it’s an essential practice for me.
Q: What do you look for in Mr Right?
A: It’s not about being perfect but loving unconditionally and being completely in union with another human being. The relationship will be based on self-love and not codependency. There will be no neediness on either side.
Q: How would you know when Mr Right comes along?
A: Mr Right will be my twin flame soul mate. I have known that I had this soul mate from childhood. I will feel it in my cells and it will be a feel-ing of coming home.
Q: What’s a typical day like for you?
A: My day is about staying in balance and harmony with myself, eating and drinking healthily, and following my inner voice if I have an urge to paint or run. I compile a to-do list in German every day.
Q: Three things you would have done differently are…?
A: Been more brave, cared less, cut off people who aren’t good for me and worried less about my finances.
Q: If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be?
A: I’d like to be an alien flying around in a spaceship, watching the Earth and other galaxies.
Q: Where would you like to be in 10 years’ time?
A: Having a husband and family who are working as a team to serve humanity. I’d like to cultivate a huge garden where I grow vegetables and herbs, and be able to play with my pets; travel; be recognised internationally; be an author; and teach children about how to connect with nature and animals while supporting them to embrace their gifts.
