A Billie Eilish fragrance is coming and we couldn’t be more excited. Just when we thought she couldn’t possibly be thriving any more this year, our Gen-Z pop queen has gone and proved us wrong yet again by setting her sights on the world of perfume and creating her very first scent.
Aptly named ‘Eilish’, the new cruelty-free, vegan fragrance is dropping in November and it already sounds like the perfect winter scent. The 19-year-old Grammy winner announced the news of the launch to fans on Wednesday, sharing a stunning campaign shot of herself posing with the body-shaped bottle in her hand.
“This is a scent that i’ve been chasing for years and years. this is my favorite smell in the WORLD” she wrote in a lengthy caption expressing her excitement. “Fragrance has always been such an enormous part of my life and existence since i can remember, and it was a dream to create this scent and bring my ideas to life. this has been one of the most exciting things i’ve ever done. i can’t wait for it to be yours so soon!!!!!”
Created with notes of amber, cocoa, vanilla, and warm spices, the eponymous fragrance is already giving us festive feels. “I’ve always been in love with vanilla, since I was a kid and my mom would teach me to bake,” the singer revealed in an interview with Vogue. Nostalgia is synonymous with fragrance and Billie was keen for her scent to teleport her back to a fond childhood memory.
The star also told Vogue that she and her father both have synesthesia which causes different senses, including smell and sight, to intertwine. “I have a really strong nose, and since I was like a little kid, smells are all I think about,” she said. “I associate everything through my nose—like, for real.”
