HARRY STYLES AND ‘THE CROWN’ STAR EMMA CORIN SET TO STAR IN AMAZON FILM

It looks like we have a new movie to look forward to on Amazon. It’s just been announced that Harry Styles and The Crown’s Emma Corrin are teaming up together in a new film called My Policeman.

Corrin, who earlier this week was nominated for a Golden Globe and SAG Award for her role as Princess Diana in the Netflix royal drama, will appear alongside Styles in a film adaptation of Bethan Roberts’ 2012 novel of the same name.

The book is set in Brighton in the 1950s and 1990s and is about a ‘heartbreaking love triangle’ between married couple, Tom (Styles), a gay policeman, who is in love with another man, and his wife Marion (Corrin).

According to reports, the Amazon film will be set in the 90s and see the elderly pair looking back on their romance. Tony and Olivier award-winner Michael Grandage will direct the film, which has been written by Ron Nyswaner. Production is expected to begin later this year.

Corrin and Styles are actually pals in real life through mutual friendship groups in London. There were rumours that Styles even helped her prepare for her Netflix fame.

The film is the latest in Styles’s acting career, with the former One Direction singer having previously starred in Dunkirk in 2017 and in the forthcoming drama Don’t Worry Darling opposite Florence Pugh, that he’s currently filming in LA at the moment.
