After the 60th anniversary of Barbie a year ago, it was then the icon Claudia Schiffer's turn to celebrate her 50th birthday last summer. With no less than 700 magazine covers under her belt, the German top model has made her mark in the fashion world. After announcing the anthology of capsules and limited pieces designed with big brands she has signed a last collaboration, this time with Mattel, for her birthday.
Slender silhouette, blonde hair, porcelain eyes…Everything suggests that Claudia Schiffer's features are not so different from those of the famous doll and yet, it is indeed the face of the 1990s icon that Mattel has decided to pay homage to today. The goal? Highlight the most iconic looks worn by the top model during her career, including the Versace dress from the Fall/Winter 1994 show as well as the Balmain dress from a campaign dating back to 2016. Covering the shoulders with a structured Macramé style adorned with pearls, the all-black dress from Balmain perfectly hugs the silhouette of the German top model, featuring a skirt with cutout detail.

Imagined in shades of blue, Versace's red carpet dress was inspired by the famous bustier of the Italian fashion house, lengthened with an ultra-long skirt whose plays of transparency allow a glimpse at the endless legs of the blonde icon. For Donatella Versace, this is a real symbol.
Claudia Schiffer is unique and her Barbie lookalike is too. Therefore, this collaboration will not be available for sale.
